About Us

Roie is the founding partners at Bar Law, and focuses his practice in commercial transactions, litigation, and estate planning. Roie has over 15 years of experience practicing law, both in private practice and as corporate in-house counsel for multinational corporations. 

Starting out his legal career as a commercial litigator, Roie has litigated and resolved countless of civil disputes – including several multimillion-dollar lawsuits – involving contractual breaches, property-related disputes, torts, partnership disputes, business dissolutions, construction litigation, injunctions and many other civil cases. 

As a transactional advisor to his clients, Roie has been involved in the negotiations, drafting and execution of a variety of commercial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, fundraising/capital raises, investment transactions, real estate transactions, business formations, corporate governance matters, business dissolutions and various other commercial dealings. 

To better serve individual and family clients with succession and estate management concerns, Roie has also been advising clients on succession, incapacitation and estate planning matters, including establishing living trusts, wills & last testaments, healthcare powers of attorney, financial powers of attorneys, living wills and healthcare directives, and/or HIPAA waivers.

Representative Cases:

• Obtained an eight-figure settlement on behalf of a multinational financial institution on breach of contract claims; 
• Successfully secured a seven-figure partnership buy-out on behalf of a minority shareholder of a growth-stage business who was being forced out of management by business partners; 
• Represented a business client in the sale of its assets and operations to a private equity fund;
• Drafted, negotiated and executed investment transactions in technology startups on behalf of early-stage co-investors;
• Advised startup businesses on fundraising/ capital raise transactions, from preliminary discussions with investors through completion of equity financing round;
• Obtained an injunction on behalf of a client to enjoin business partners’ intentional and continuing disregard of contractual rights and obligations, as well as of proper corporate governance; 
• Enforced client’s rights under an option to purchase commercial real estate, and secured title for the commercial property under the client’s name;   
• Successfully defended debtor against unsecured creditors’ attempts to fraudulently attach to collateral in an otherwise unsecured debt transaction;
• Appointed to serve as arbitrator for the Maricopa County Superior Court on a commercial dispute case
